An END OF TENANCY CLEANING CHECKLIST can be invaluable when you are moving. MYHOME have a handy checklist which they recommend you use to avoid problems with the dreaded landlord inspection. Most landlords, checkout companies & estate agents require that the outgoing tenant adheres to a strict Wipe downing checklist when leaving a property.

BEDROOM CLEANING

  • wall tiles, wash down & polish
  • exterior of appliances such as kettle & toaster
  • kitchen countertops
  • polish sink & shine taps

  • Vacuum & wash hard floors

BATHROOM & TOILET

  • Bath, Loo & sink

  • switches & fittings, shades, plugs, sockets
  • cupboards & wardrobes – inside & outside & on top
  • Vacuum & mop hard floors

Generally speaking the out-going tenant is not required to clean the exterior area such as windows, gardens & garages so the END OF TENANCY CLEANING CHECKLIST does not include these items.
